Request & valuation
Vehicle details, destination and buyer profile. We verify that the export structure is sound and set the market value.

Buyer verification
Identity check plus demonstrable non-EU residency or foreign company registration. Only verified buyers receive an offer.

Documentation & contract
Internationally watertight sale contract, in the correct currency, with IBAN and destination recorded. Legally watertight on both sides.
- 04
Customs declaration
EX-A export declaration via our customs broker. Where transit crosses another EU country, a T1 is added, sealed until the external EU border.
- 05
Physical transport
Insured trailer transport to destination or port. For longer routes a sealed 40ft container with GPS tracking.
- 06
Export proof & file close
Confirmed export proof from customs is filed in the dossier. Within 4 to 8 weeks of receipt the file is closed definitively.

What counts as export?
Vehicle sales outside the European Union, to destinations such as the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Norway, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia and the United States. We handle the full journey with customs-watertight documentation and verifiable export proof.
Which documents do I need as a buyer?
A valid ID, plus demonstrable non-EU residency (utility bill, bank statement) or foreign company registration. For a corporate purchase we expect a KvK-equivalent from the country of destination and, where applicable, a valid fiscal number.
How long does the process usually take?
4 to 6 weeks from agreement, depending on destination. For UK deliveries via the Eurotunnel we plan 2 to 3 weeks; overseas container freight (Middle East, Far East, US) runs 6 to 10 weeks owing to shipping schedules.
What does an export at Manstory cost?
Our service fee plus customs charges plus transport. During the intake we set out a transparent breakdown. Thanks to any BPM refund and the scale advantages of our logistics partners, the net price for the buyer is often more competitive than via a local dealer in the destination country.
Do I get BPM refunded on export?
Yes. For vehicles registered in the Netherlands we reclaim BPM via the export declaration. The exact amount depends on age and registration status and can reach tens of thousands of euros for recently registered premium vehicles.
What if export proof can't be obtained?
Then a fiscal and compliance risk arises for anyone arranging the export themselves. That's why we work exclusively with accredited carriers and keep customs documentation meticulous. The risk sits with us, not with you.
